Codes Research Specialist, Connecticut Office

Trinity | ERD’s East Coast Office is hiring a Codes Research Specialist. Our successful employees are very self-motivated. Experience with Building Codes a plus. Occasional overnight travel in the U.S.
Duties:
- Correspond with colleagues, clients and 3rd parties;
- Research building code requirements;
- Research, review and collate testing and quality control documentation;
- Prepare submittal packages on behalf of clients;
- Research and review documents pertaining to projects;
- Generate draft reports / product evaluations for review by managerial staff;
- Maintain up to date files;
- Audit project files for completeness;
- Field overflow from other Trinity | ERD departments, including field / on-site work as needed;
This position requires a two year technical Associate's degree, a minimum of 1 year experience with technical document research / technical writing, and proficiency with AutoCAD. BA/S preferred, not required. Perfect candidate has excellent communication, research, organizational / writing skills, and ability to learn and retain info.
